Changing currency support

Use WebSphere Commerce to change the currency support offered in the store.


  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. Click Store > Change Profile. The Store Profile notebook opens. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.

  3. From the left navigation frame, click Currency. The Currency tab displays. The Selected currencies list displays the currencies already supported by the store. The Available currencies list displays currencies that you can add to the store. You have the following options:

    1. To add support for a currency to the store, select the desired currency in the Available currencies list and click Add.

    2. To remove support for a currency from the store, select the currency from the Selected currencies list and click Remove. You cannot remove a currency that is specified as the default currency.

      To remove this currency, first specify another currency as the default, then remove the currency.

    3. To change the default currency for the store, select the currency to be the default, and click Set as Default Currency. You can only set one default currency for the store.

  4. To complete another task in the Store Profile notebook, click the appropriate page in the left navigation frame. If not, click OK to save the settings and return to the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator home page.

  5. If you opened the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator from the Management Center:

    1. Log out of the Management Center.

    2. Close the browser.

    3. Open a browser and log on to the Management Center.
    The changes you made are visible in the Management Center.
