Changing the default stereotype style for compartments

In UML visualization, you can change the default stereotype style that appears for compartments when you create new diagrams or add shapes to an existing diagram.

Note: This setting affects only new shapes that you add to a diagram and does not affect existing shapes.

To change the default stereotype style for compartments:

  1. Click Window > Preferences.

  2. In the Preferences window, expand Modeling, expand Appearance, and click Shapes.

  3. On the Shapes page, in the Compartment stereotype style list, select one of the following three options:

    • To displays compartment stereotypes with decoration icons, click Decoration.

    • To displays compartment stereotypes with text in double angle brackets (<< >>), click Text.

    • Not to display any compartment stereotype, click None.

  4. Click OK.
