Changing the default for showing action bars

In UML visualization, the action bar appears by default when you place the cursor over a shape in a diagram. You can change the default setting so that the action bar does not appear when you place the cursor over a shape.

Note: This setting is global and impacts the existing shapes in a diagram and the shapes that you add to a diagram.

To change the default for showing action bars:

  1. Click Window > Preferences.

  2. In the Preferences window, click Modeling.

  3. On the Modeling page, clear the Show action bars check box.
