Changing store style

Use the Change Style wizard in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to change the style of the store, including layout, color, and banner.

Before you begin

Back up the files in this directory:

• WC_EAR/Stores.war/WEB-INF/xml/tools/stores/storedir/devtools

• workspace_dir\Stores\Web Content\WEB-INF\xml\tools\stores\storedir\devtools\storefront

If necessary, you can restore the directory and restart the WebSphere Commerce Server. Your storefront and WebSphere Commerce Accelerator options for store style use the original style.

Procedure

1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator
   

2. Click Store > Change Style. The Style page displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator. The available store layouts display on this page.

3. Select a layout the click Next.

4. On the Color page select a color scheme and click Apply .

   To view the new color scheme in the store, click View Store. Your store opens displaying the new colors.

   To view the other available colors in the store, return to the Color page, select another color, and repeat. Click Next.

5. On the Banner page select or upload a banner.

   Option	Description
   Upload the own banner	Select Use the own banner . In the Banner image field, type the file path for the banner, or click Browse and navigate to the file on the system. Click Upload .
   Select a banner	The available banners display. Select a banner.

   Click Apply.

   To view the new banner in the store, click View Store. Your store opens displaying the new banner.

   To view the other available banners in the store, return to the Banner page, select another banner and repeat.

6. Click Finish. Click OK to save the settings and return to the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator home page.

7. If you opened the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator from the Management Center:

   1. Log out of the Management Center.

   2. Close the browser.

   3. Open a browser and log on to the Management Center.
   The changes you made are visible in the Management Center.
