Request a shipping date
This section explains how to add a requested shipping date for an item in an order.
Procedure
- Log on to the IBM Sales Center.
- Select a store.
- Create or find the order or quote for which to add a requested shipping date.
- If this is an order and it has already been submitted, click Edit.
- If this is a quote and it has already been completed, create a new quote from it.
- Go to the Order Items or Quote Items page.
- For each item for which to add a requested shipping date:
- Select the item.
- Enter the date that the customer would like the item shipped in the Requested shipping date cell.
If you enter a date that is past the maximum number of days specified in the Orders preferences page, a warning dialog box displays saying that you have picked a date that is not valid.
- Modify the information in the remaining item-detail fields as necessary.
- Click the Apply button to apply the changes before clicking on the Payment page.
- Modify the payment information as necessary.
- Click Submit or Complete Quote.
