Find an order

When you are searching for an order, you can use either the quick-find or advanced-find search method.

Quick find

Use this method to search for an order using common parameters such as the customer's last name, the customer's first name, and so on.

To search for an order using the quick-find method:


Procedure

  1. Log on to the IBM Sales Center.

  2. Optional: Select a store.

  3. Optional: Find a customer.

  4. Execute one of the following actions:

    • Right-click the store or customer in the Stores view, and then click Find > Order.

    • Click Order > Find (Ctrl + F, Ctrl + O).

  5. Select a search option from the Search by list.

  6. Enter information in all fields, and then click Find.

    Tip: Use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard in a field to broaden the search. Search information can be entered in the following formats:

    • *

    • XXX *

    • * XXX *

    where XXX is a partial string to search on. If search information is entered in any other format, the Find button will be disabled.

  7. Scroll through the Search result table to find the order for which you are searching.

    Tip: Click a column heading in the Search result table to sort the current page of results (there may be more than one page) based on that heading.

  8. Select the order, and then click OK.
