Enable IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for WAS counters
We can use IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for WAS to enable counters to monitor applications.
Procedure
- Start the admin console.
- In the navigation pane, click Monitoring and Tuning > Performance Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI).
- Click the Runtime tab and select Custom.
- Expand ITCAM Application Performance.
- Select the counters to monitor, and select Enable. There are some counters that you can only enable at the application level. If you enable these counters at the server level, these counters appear to be disabled. However, if you navigate to the application level, these counters display as enabled.
