Generate monitor models from WebSphere Integration Developer and IBM Integration Designer 7.5
You can generate a monitor model in the Business Monitor development toolkit 8.0 that can monitor applications from WebSphere Integration Developer 6.1, WebSphere Integration Developer 6.2, WebSphere Integration Developer 7.0, or IBM Integration Designer 7.5 without having to either upgrade your process runtime environment or install an earlier version of the development toolkit.
After you generate the monitor model, you can also iteratively develop the application with WebSphere Integration Developer or IBM Integration Designer 7.5 while developing the monitor model in the latest version of the development toolkit. You can keep your monitor model synchronized with your application while both are being iteratively developed
- Installing the application monitoring update into WebSphere Integration Developer
To monitor applications created in WebSphere Integration Developer 6.1 or 6.2, install an application monitoring update into WebSphere Integration Developer using Eclipse software updates.- Export application monitoring information
After installing the development toolkit update, you can export the required application monitoring information from WebSphere Integration Developer.- Generate monitor models based on application monitoring information from WebSphere Integration Developer
After exporting the required application monitoring information, you can use it to generate a monitor model to monitor an application that was created in WebSphere Integration Developer 6.1 or 6.2.- Testing monitor models created in earlier versions
To test monitor models based on applications created in WebSphere Integration Developer 6.1, 6.2, or 7.0 or in earlier versions of Integration Designer, you can run the application using the Process Server test environment for that version, capture the events with a script, and use the Integrated Test Client to play back the events in the Business Monitor V8.0.1 test environment.- Remove the application monitoring update from WebSphere Integration Developer
You can remove the application monitoring update from WebSphere Integration Developer 6.1 or 6.2.
