Changing the default visibility style for attributes and operations
In UML visualization, you can change the default visibility style for attributes and operations that appears when you create new class diagrams or add classifiers to existing ones.
Note: This setting affects only new classifiers that you add to a class diagram and do not affect existing classifiers in a diagram.
To change the default visibility style for attributes and operations:
- Click Window > Preferences.
- In the Preferences window, expand Modeling, expand Appearance, and click Shapes.
- On the Shapes page, in the Visibility style list, click an item:
- To display visibility styles with decoration icons, click Decoration.
- To displays visibility styles with text symbols, click Text.
- To suppress the display of visibility styles, click None.
- Click OK.
