Setting the default for showing operation signatures

In UML visualization, you can set the default for classifiers to show operation signatures when you create new class diagrams or add classifiers to existing ones.

Note: This default setting affects only classifiers that you add to a diagram and do not affect existing classifiers in a diagram.

To set the default for showing operation signatures:

  1. Click Window > Preferences.

  2. In the Preferences window, expand Modeling, expand Appearance, and click Shapes.

  3. On the Shapes page, select Show signatures and click OK.
