Customizing default settings for connectors

In UML visualization, you can customize the default settings for showing connector handles and labels, and change the default color and line style for connectors.

These default settings affect only connectors that you add to a diagram and do not affect any existing connectors.

Changing the default color for connectors
In UML visualization, you can change the default color that appears for connectors when you add connectors (relationships) between shapes in a diagram.

Changing the default line style for connectors
In UML visualization, connectors appear in the oblique line style by default when you add connectors (relationships) between shapes in a diagram. You can change the default oblique line style to the rectilinear style for connectors.

Changing the default setting for connector handles
In UML visualization, shapes show connector (relationship) handles by default when you place the cursor over them. You can change the default setting for shapes not to show connector handles.

Changing the default setting for connector stereotypes
In UML visualization, connector stereotypes appear as text in double angle brackets (<< >>) by default. You can change the default setting for connectors not to display stereotypes.
