Creating enterprise beans
In UML visualization, you can create enterprise beans directly in the diagram editor.
You must have a class diagram open in the J2EE perspective.
To create an enterprise bean:
- In the Palette, click a types of enterprise bean.
- In the diagram editor, click an empty space where you want to create the enterprise bean.
- Complete the steps in the Create an Enterprise Bean wizard.
- Click Finish.
A new enterprise bean is created and stored in the Project Explorer view.
Tip: You can also create enterprise beans in the J2EE perspective in one of the following ways:
- In the diagram editor, right-click an EJB JAR artifact; then click Add EJB > Enterprise Bean.
- Click File > New > Enterprise Bean.
