Defining e-mail action access settings
Specify the access control settings for the e-mail action to determine which users have access to the e-mail action and their level of access.Users and groups can be assigned the roles of user, contributor, editor, or manager.
To grant users or groups access to an item:
- Go to the Access section of a form.
- To allow the item to inherit access roles from a parent item or library, select inherit against a role.
- To select specific users or groups instead of using inheritance, click either:
- Grant User Access.
- Grant Contributor Access.
- Grant Editor Access.
- Grant Manager Access.
- To add users or groups, click Add.
- Select either Users or Groups.
- Enter text to search for in the Search field and then click Search. Leave the Search field blank to display all users or groups.
- Select the required users or groups and then click OK.
- To remove users or groups, select the users or groups you would like to remove and then click Remove.
- To grant access to virtual users, use the drop-down beside the Grant Access buttons. Select from "anonymous portal user", "all authenticated portal users", "all users", "authors", "owners", and "creator".
- Then click OK.
