Create an e-mail action to notify users, groups, or both

Email settings

An email action sends an email to a set of users or groups.

To be able to send a user an email notification during a workflow:

1. Ensure that you have configured the WCM WCMConfigService service to enable email and specify SMTP server.

2. Ensure that the user has a valid email address defined in their WebSphere Portal user profile.

   Create an email action...

   Applications | Content | Web Content Management | New | Workflow Actions | Action

3. Define identification details for the e-mail action

4. Specify a location for the e-mail action

5. Create an email action

6. Define additional e-mail action properties

7. Define e-mail action access settings
