Migrate marketing
If the site plans to use the Management Center Marketing tool after migrating to WebSphere Commerce v7, there are some tasks perform to prepare the site. The specific tasks depend on whether the site used WebSphere Commerce Accelerator or Management Center for marketing management before migrating.
If the site plans to continue using WebSphere Commerce Accelerator for marketing management after migrating to WebSphere Commerce v7, no action is required.
- Migrate marketing from WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to Management Center v7
If the site used WebSphere Commerce Accelerator for marketing management before migrating to WebSphere Commerce v7, migrate existing campaigns and Web activities to Management Center using a marketing migration utility. You must also perform some additional configuration tasks to ensure the site supports Management Center marketing features.
- Migrate marketing from Management Center v6 Feature Pack 3 or 4 to Management Center v7
If the site was already using Management Center for marketing management before migrating to WebSphere Commerce v7, then you do not need to migrate any marketing data. You must perform some additional configuration tasks to ensure the site supports Management Center marketing features.
