Network Deployment (Distributed operating systems), v8.0 > Establishing high availability

View the core groups in a cell

A core group is a component of the high availability manager. A default core group, called DefaultCoreGroup, is created for each cell. A core group can contain application servers, proxy servers, node agents, and the dmgr. A core group must contain at least one node agent or the dmgr. If move servers between core groups, in preparation for the move, you can view the list of the different core groups contained in a cell to help determine to which core group to move a server.

To view the core groups that are in a cell:

Procedure

In the admin console, click...

Servers > Core Groups > Core group settings.

Results

A list of the core groups that are in the cell is displayed.

What to do next

Click the name of one of the core groups to obtain specific information about that core group.
