Checking job logs using iSeries Navigator
You can use iSeries™ Navigator to check job logs.
To access the job log for an active job or server job, follow these steps:
- In iSeries Navigator,
expand your system > Work Management > Active Jobs or Server Jobs. You can see a job log from any place within Work Management that you access jobs (for example, through the subsystem area or the memory pool area).
- Right-click a job (for example, Qsyswrk) and select Job Log. View the messages displayed in the Job Log to help identify problems associated with this job.
To view more details of a message, double-click a specific message ID. A Message Details dialog box appears. This dialog shows the details of the message as well as the message help. The detailed message gives you information to help solve a problem.
