Different operating systems in the same Application Server cell

With careful planning, we can manage cells across different z/OS Sysplexes and different operating systems.

Cells can span z/OS sysplex environments and other operating systems. For example, z/OS nodes, Linux nodes, UNIX nodes, and Windows nodes can exist in the same Application Server cell. This kind of configuration is referred to as a heterogeneous cell.
