Following processes in Process Portal
The Stream tab enables you to see at a glance the updates to work and the posts that have been made to a specific process. You can subscribe to the stream for specific processes by following the process.
You might want to follow a process, for example, in the following situations:
- You determine that a certain process is at risk, for example, by using the Process Performance dashboard and decide to follow the process to track the outstanding work that is needed to complete it.
- You initiate an approval process and decide to follow the process so that you know when the approval comes through.
Procedure
In the Details tab for the process, do one of the following:
- To follow a process, click the Follow icon
(
). The icon changes to a solid star (
), indicating that the process is being followed.
- To stop following a process, click the Follow icon
(). The icon changes to a star outline
, indicating that the process is not being followed.
What to do next
View a list of your followed processes by clicking on the Following tab.
