Disabling Monitor test server security in Integration Designer
If you are testing applications that require security to be disabled, you must disable security for the secure Monitor test environment server where these applications are published. These steps are required only if you are using Integration Designer.
Procedure
To disable the security that was enabled during the installation of the Monitor test environment:
- Disable applications security.
- Start the Monitor test environment server.
- In Integration Designer, click the Servers tab, select the Monitor test environment server, and double-click the icon to the left of the name to open the Server Overview.
- In the Security section of the Server Overview, clear the Security is enabled on this server check box.
- Right-click the server in the Servers view and start the WebSphere Application Server administrative console. Log in with the current administrative user ID and password. The default user ID and password are admin and admin.
- In the navigation panel, click Security > Global security. Clear the Enable administrative security and Enable application security check boxes.
- Disable the inbound and outbound identity assertion.
- In the WebSphere Application Server administrative console, under Security > Secure administration, applications, and infrastructure, open the RMI/IIOP security section. Click CSIv2 inbound authentication.
- Clear the Identity assertion check box.
- Disable the Monitor Bus Security so that cross-cell functions will operate correctly.
- In the WebSphere Application Server administrative console, click Service Integration > Buses. Locate the server name (MONITOR.WBMonSrv_wps_Cell.Bus or MONITOR.WBMonSrv_esb_Cell.Bus) and click Security.
- Under Permitted transports, clear the Enable Bus Security check box.
- Click Allow the use of all defined transport channel chains, and then click Apply and Save.
