Keyboard shortcuts for the integration test client
In the integration test client, you can perform many of the available test actions by using keyboard shortcuts.
Many of these keyboard shortcuts can be invoked from menus, which you can open by pressing Shift+F10.
Keyboard shortcuts associated with the integration test client are available in the pages, wizards, editors, window boxes, and views:

Add Element window
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the Add Element window:
Key combination Function Alt+M Moves the focus to the Select the module that defines the type field. Alt+N Moves the focus to the Enter the number of new elements to add field.
Assembly editor
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the assembly editor:
Key combination Function (Shift+F10)+M Opens the integration test client for the entire module. (Shift+F10)+T Opens the integration test client for two or more selected components. (Shift+F10)+T Opens the integration test client for a single selected component.
Business Integration view
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the Business Integration view:
Key combination Function (Shift+F10)+T+U Opens the Load test trace wizard. (Shift+F10)+T+G Opens the Load Test Configuration wizard. (Shift+F10)+T+D Opens the Load Emulator wizard. (Shift+F10)+T+M Opens the integration test client with an Invoke event. (Shift+F10)+T+A Opens the integration test client with an Attach event. (Shift+F10)+T+V Opens the integration test client with an Emit event.
Configurations page
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the Configurations page:
Key combination Function Alt+V Opens the Events page. Alt+A Opens the New Configuration wizard. Alt+R Removes the selected test configuration, module, emulator, or monitor. Alt+E Saves the selected test configuration. Alt+L Opens the Load Configuration wizard. Alt+N Moves the focus to the Name field for a selected test configuration, module, emulator, or monitor. Alt+D Moves the focus to the Description text area for a selected test configuration, module, emulator, or monitor. Alt+U Moves the focus to the User ID field for a selected test configuration. Alt+O If you have Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition security enabled and you logged on to a server in the test client using your Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition security user ID and password, using this shortcut logs you off the server for a selected test configuration. This is similar to clicking the Logout button. Alt+H Moves the focus to the Location host field for a selected module. Alt+P Moves the focus to the Location port field for a selected module. Alt+T Moves the focus to the Runtime environment type field for a selected module. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Runtime environment name field for a selected module. Alt+S Moves the focus to the Status field for a selected module. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Modules included in this test configuration list box for a selected test configuration. Alt+C Moves the focus to the Component field for a selected component emulator. Alt+F Moves the focus to the Reference list box for a selected reference emulator. Alt+M Selects Manual emulation for a selected emulator. Alt+P Selects Programmatic emulation for a selected emulator. Alt+I Moves the focus to the File field for a selected emulator. Alt+O Opens the file selection window for a selected programmatic emulator. Alt+W Opens the New Emulator wizard for a selected programmatic emulator. Alt+Q Selects the Monitor requests check box for a selected monitor. Alt+P Selects the Monitor responses check box for a selected monitor. Alt+C Moves the focus to the Source component field for a selected monitor. Alt+F Moves the focus to the Source reference field for a selected monitor. Alt+O Moves the focus to the Target component field for a selected monitor. Alt+I Moves the focus to the Target interface field for a selected monitor. (Shift+F10)+A+C Opens the New Test Configuration wizard when a test configuration is selected. (Shift+F10)+A+M Opens the New Test Module wizard when a test configuration, module container, or module is selected. (Shift+F10)+A+E Opens the New Emulator wizard when a module container, module, emulator container, or emulator is selected. (Shift+F10)+A+T Opens the New Monitor wizard when a module container, module, monitor container, or monitor is selected.
Data pool editor
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the data pool editor:
Key combination Function Alt+F Moves the focus to the Filter for type field. Alt+V Moves the focus to the Values editor. (Shift+F10)+E Adds a new element to the selected array. (Shift+F10)+Y Copies a selected value. (Shift+F10)+P Pastes a copied value to a selected row. (Shift+F10)+S Opens the Set Value window. (Shift+F10)+R Removes the selected element. (Shift+F10)+m Removes a selected value from the data pool. Alt+U Saves your changes to the data pool. Ctrl+A Selects all rows. Enter Opens the Set Value window for any rows selected in the data pool editor. Tab For each object in the integration test client that is capable of receiving focus, the Tab key moves the focus forward from object to object. This feature is especially useful in the value and data pool editors, where you can use the Tab key to move the focus to a row in the editor and then use the Enter key to put the editor in edit mode. Once the editor is in edit mode, you can use the Tab key to move the focus forward from one value to the next in the editor. Shift+Tab For each object in the integration test client that is capable of receiving focus, the Shift+Tab key combination moves the focus backwards from object to object. This feature is especially useful in the value and data pool editors, where you can use the Shift+Tab key combination to move the focus to a row in the editor and then use the Enter key to put the editor in edit mode. Once the editor is in edit mode, you can use the Tab key to move the focus backwards from one value to the next in the editor.
Events page
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the Events page:
Key combination Function Ctrl+I Creates a new Invoke event in the Events area (similar to clicking the Invoke button). Ctrl+R Runs the test suite (similar to clicking the Run Test icon). Ctrl+H Creates a new Attach event in the Events area (similar to clicking the Continue icon). Ctrl+E Create a new Emit event in the Events area (similar to clicking the Emit icon). Ctrl+R Invokes the selected operation (similar to clicking the Continue icon). Alt+G Opens the Configurations page. Alt+L Opens the data pool editor. Alt+U Invokes the selected operation (similar to clicking the Continue button). Alt+Q Moves the focus to the Initial request parameters value editor for a selected manual Invoke event. Alt+D Moves the focus to the Fault data value editor for a selected exception event or monitor exception event. Alt+R Moves the focus to the Target operation field for a selected manual Emulate event. Alt+P Moves the focus to the Input parameters value editor for a selected manual Emulate event. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Output parameters value editor for a selected manual Emulate event. Alt+C Moves the focus to the Exception class field for a selected Exception event. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Exception message field for a selected Exception event. Alt+R Moves the focus to the Exception trace scroll box for a selected Exception event. (Shift+F10)+D Detaches the selected Attach event from the test configuration and one or more modules. (Shift+F10)+U Reinvokes the operation for a selected manual Invoke event so that you can specify different values for any manual emulator. (Shift+F10)+W Reinvokes the operation for a selected manual Invoke event using the same values for any manual emulator. (Shift+F10)+R Removes one or more selected manual Invoke or Attach events. (Shift+F10)+A Removes all events.
New Emulator wizard
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the New Emulator wizard:
Key combination Function Alt+S Moves the focus to the Select a module to continue list box. Alt+A Moves the focus to the Module name field. Alt+R Selects References. Alt+C Selects Components. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Emulated references in this module list box. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Emulated components and imports in this module list box. Alt+P Moves the focus to the Component drop-down list. Alt+S Selects the check box beside reference or component in the list box. Alt+E Clears the check box beside reference or component in the list box.
New Monitor wizard
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the New Monitor wizard:
Key combination Function Alt+S Moves the focus to the Select a module to continue list box. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Monitored wires and exports in this module list box. Alt+S Selects the check box beside each wire and export in the Monitored wires and exports in this module list box. Alt+E Clears the check box beside each wire and export in the Monitored wires and exports in this module list box. Alt+R Moves the focus to the From component drop-down list. Alt+T Moves the focus to the To component drop-down list.
New Programmatic Emulator wizard
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut key that you can invoke in the New Programmatic Emulator wizard:
Key combination Function Alt+U Selects the Use Default check box to specify that the default Java™ class location should be used.
New Test Configuration wizard
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the New Test Configuration wizard:
Key combination Function Alt+D Moves the focus to the Selected modules in this configuration list box. Alt+A Moves the focus to the Test configuration name field. Alt+S Selects the check box beside each module in the Selected modules in this configuration list box. Alt+E Clears the check box beside each module in the Selected modules in this configuration list box.
New Test Module wizard
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the New Test Module wizard:
Key combination Function Alt+S Moves the focus to the Select a test configuration to continue list box. Alt+D Moves the focus to the Selected modules in this configuration list box. Alt+A Moves the focus to the Test configuration name field. Alt+S Selects the check box beside each module in the Selected modules in this configuration list box. Alt+E Clears the check box beside each module in the Selected modules in this configuration list box.
Preferences window
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the Integration Test Client page of the Preferences window:
Key combination Function Alt+S Selects the Save Modified Resources Automatically Before the Test Client Starts check box in the Starting integration test client control group. Alt+Y Selects Always prompt in the Default action when a module requires republishing control group. Alt+U Selects Republish and continue test in the Default action when a module requires republishing control group. Alt+I Selects Ignore and continue test in the Default action when a module requires republishing control group. Alt+M Selects Always prompt in the Default action when a module requires restarting control group. Alt+R Selects Restart and continue test in the Default action when a module requires restarting control group. Programmatic emulation editor
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the programmatic emulation editor:
Key combination Function Alt+V Selects Visual snippet editor. Alt+J Selects Java snippet editor. Alt+D Opens the Java snippet editor pane or the visual snippet editor pane. Alt+P Moves the focus to the Parameters editor. Alt+R Moves the focus to the Return field. Alt+W Moves the focus to the Throws field. Alt+R Opens the Define Emulation page. Alt+C Clears all content from the Java snippet editor pane or the visual snippet editor pane. Alt+O Opens the Overview page.
Select Deployment Location wizard
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the Select Deployment Location wizard:
Key combination Function Alt+U Selects the Use this as the default and do not ask again list box. Alt+L Moves the focus to the Deployment location list box. Alt+S Opens the New Server wizard. Alt+M Moves the focus to the Mode drop-down list.

The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the Select Deployment Location per Module wizard:
Key combination Function Alt+M Moves the focus to the Select a deployment location for each module list box. Alt+L Opens the Select Deployment Location wizard. Alt+U Selects the Use this as the default and do not ask again list box.
Value editor
The following table describes the integration test client shortcut keys that you can invoke in the value editor:

Alt+A Selects Add as a new element to the pool. Alt+E Selects Add to an existing list in the pool. Alt+L Moves the focus to the Select a list editor.
