Mediation policy widgets
When using Business Space you can use these widgets to administer mediation policy.
Module Browser
The Module Browser widget lists all of the SCA modules that are currently deployed to servers in the cell where Business Space is installed. You can expand each module to view its details, and to view two of the detail items related to mediation policy, Module Properties and Module Policies. You can display detailed information in the Module Administration widget by selecting either of the mediation module items.
Module Administration
The Module Administration widget responds to selections made in the Module Browser. In the Module Administration widget within the Module Browser, select Module Properties to display information about promoted properties associated with that module: Group Name, Property Name, Type, and Value. If you select Module Policies then the Module Administration widget shows the name of the currently selected module and the default WSRR definition. The Policy Attachment Name table shows if the module has any policy attachments. Create new policy attachments for the module by specifying a name in the New policy attachment field and clicking Create. See the Module mediation policy administration scenario for an example of how these widgets are applied.
Service Browser
The Service Browser widget lists all of the services known to the WSRR instance specified in the WSRR definition used field. This field initially uses the default WSRR definition specified in the administrative console. All WSRR definitions are listed in the menu. You can expand each listed service to show Service name, Endpoint names (WSDL port) and Operation names. You can locate these items in the Mediation Policies section. If items are displayed in the Mediation Policies section you can configure mediation policies for these services.
You can also view policies already attached to the services by using the Mediation Policy Administration widget.
Mediation Policy Administration
The Mediation Policy Administration widget responds to selections made in the Service Browser. The widget shows the name of the currently selected target service property (Service, Endpoint or Operation), and the currently selected WSRR definition. If the target service property has policy attachments the widget shows the attachments in the Policy Attachment Name table. Create new policy attachments for the target service property by specifying a name in the New policy attachment field and clicking Create. See the Module mediation policy administration scenario for an example of how these widgets are applied
