Manage tasks in the Tasks widget
You can perform various actions on the items in a tasks list, depending on whether you created, manage, or own the items.
The actions that are available to you depend on how your widget is configured, the status of the item, and your authorization. In your business environment, you might not be able to perform all of the following actions.
Procedure
- To view the details of an item, select it and then View from the Actions list.
- To accept an item in the list, select it and then Accept from the Actions list.
- To work on one or more items, select them and then click Edit.
- To return an item to the set of unassigned items, select the item and then Return from the Actions list.
- To transfer an item to someone else, select it and then Transfer from the Actions list.
- To delete an item, select it and then Delete from the Actions list.
- To escalate a task, select it and then click Escalate from the Actions list.
- To view escalations for an item in the list, select it and then click View from the Actions list.
- To postpone work on an item, select the it and then click Postpone from the Actions list. In the Postpone Tasks window, specify how you will resume your work. To resume your work, click Resume from the Actions list.
- To change the priority of an item, select it and then click Change Priority from the Actions list.
- To change the due date of an item, select it and then click Change Due Date from the Actions list.
