User Setup - UNIX OS

Create an account on the UNIX server for each user. All Lawson users should be assigned to the same UNIX group. That UNIX group should have group read/execute permission on most Lawson files.

The default owner and group on a Lawson system is "lawson". The lawson user owns most of the Lawson system files, yet because it is created by the install program with a uid of 80, it generally cannot run Lawson programs unless the minimum user id parameter (LAUAMINUID) is lowered in univ.cfg.

Define a UNIX user lawadm in the /etc/passwd file. laua automatically recognizes this lawadm user as the Lawson administrator. After configuring the UNIX account, use laua to define the lawadm user as a Lawson security officer.
