Exporting and importing service tests

Service tests are tightly linked to their corresponding Web Services Description Language (WSDL) files and security configurations, which are workspace resources. Therefore, to share service tests, you must export and import them by using the export and import functionality.

To copy a service test to another workspace:

  1. Open the workspace containing the test and select File > Export > Test > Web service test.

  2. Select one or several Web service tests.

  3. Click Browse to provide the location and filename of the Web service test export file that will be created, and then click Finish.

  4. Move the exported Web service test file to a location that is accessible from the new workspace.

  5. Open the workspace to which to copy the test and select File > Import > Test > Web service test.

  6. Click Browse to select the Web service test to import.

  7. Click Browse to select the project and folder where the test will be imported.

  8. Click Finish.
