Changing the default for showing attribute and operation compartments

In UML visualization, you can change the default so that attribute and operation compartments do not appear when you add classifiers to a class diagram.

Note: These default settings affect only classifiers that you add to a class diagram and do not affect any existing classifiers.

To change the default for showing attribute and operation compartments:

1. Click Window > Preferences.

2. In the Preferences window, expand Modeling, expand Appearance, and click UML Classifier.

3. On the UML Classifier page, clear Show operations clear Show attributes, and click OK.

Tip: To override these settings for an individual classifier, right-click it; then click Filters > Show/Hide Compartments.
