Define WebSphere Extension Properties for Servlets

You can define WebSphere Extension properties for servlets within youWeb projects.

To define WebSphere Extension properties for servlets:

1. In the Project Explorer view, expand the Dynamic Web Projects and select your web project.

2. Expand your project name and double click on the Deployment Descriptor

3. On the Servlets page of the editor, in the References section, go to the WebSphere Extensions section.

4. In the WebSphere Extensions section, you can add elements to the Markup Language section.

5. In the Global Transaction section, you can select "Send Web Services Atomic Transactions on requests," or "Execute using Web Services Atomic Transaction of incoming requests."

6. In the Local Transaction section, You can select the appropriate Boundary , the Resolver , and the Unresolved choices.
