Adding users to security role bindings

To add users to security role bindings using the application deployment descriptor editor:

1. Switch to the J2EE perspective.

2. In the Project Explorer view, select the desired EAR file.

3. Select Open With > Deployment Descriptor Editor from the pop-up menu.

4. On the Security page of the editor, scroll to the WebSphere Bindings section.

5. Select a security role to be bound to a user.

6. Select the Users/Groups check box.

7. In the Users section, click Add. The Add Users wizard appears.

8. Type a User name.

9. Click Finish.
