Inserting comments

You can insert comments into an animated GIF file to add, for example, the name of the person who created the animation, the date when it was created.

When you create a comment, it is inserted as a comment frame to the left of the selected frames in the animation. However, comment frames do not appear when you play the animation.

To create a comment frame:

1. Select the frame where you would like to insert your comment.

2. Select Edit > Insert Comments.

3. In the Comment Frame dialog, type the comments you would like to add. The text you type appears in a comment frame.

4. Close the dialog.

If you want to edit your comment, select the frame that contains the comment and select Edit > Frame Properties. If you want to delete your comment frame, select the frame that you want to delete and select Edit > Delete.
