Set the search user ID


If you work with EJB on a secure server, set the search user ID on the remote search server...

  1. Open the WAS admin console and select...

      Applications | Application Types | WebSphere enterprise applications | PSEStandalone | Security roles to user/group mapping | SearchUser | Map users

  2. On the portal that accesses the EJB, from the WAS admin console, determine the WAS Admin User...

  3. Return to the WAS admin console of the machine where the EJB is installed.

  4. Type the name that you found as the user ID in a previous step as the search string and click Search.

    As a result, the user ID and its configuration parameters are displayed in the Available box.

  5. Add this user ID to the Selected box by clicking the double-angled bracket > > button.

  6. Click OK to save the updates.

  7. Restart the WAS on which the PSEStandalone is installed.
