Create components

You create components to store a single element that is reused in multiple locations in website.

1. To create a component, go to Applications | Content | web Content Management.

2. Click New | Component.

3. Click the required component type.

The following sections are common to all component types:

Component identification

Specify identification information for the component, including the name, title and description of the component.

Specify a location for the component

When creating a component you can specify the location of the component.

Component properties

Specify properties for the component, including the list of authors and owners associated with the component.

Granting component access

Specify the access control settings for the component to determine which users have access to the component and their level of access.
