Changing a portlet title or description

You can change the title or description of a portlet that you have deployed.

1. In the Outline view, right-click the Portlet Adapter builder entry in the builder call list, click Disable to disable the builder, and click File > Save to save the model.

2. In the IBM® WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer, right-click the associated project and click Portal Server WAR > Build Portlet WAR.

3. In the Portlet Adapter builder call editor, change the Title or Description input.

4. In the Outline view, right-click the Portlet Adapter builder entry in the builder call list, click Enable to enable the builder, and click File > Save to save the model.

5. Right-click the associated project in the IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer and click Portal Server War > Build Portlet WAR.

The WAR file is rebuilt and the portlet.xml file contained in the WAR is updated to reflect your changes.
