About portlet and page configuration in anonymous mode
For IBM® WebSphere Portlet Factory portlets to work, HTTP sessions are required. Because IBM WebSphere Portal server does not enable sessions by default, configure the server for proper operation. Administrators can place portlets on a portal or page that is presented to anonymous users. Because IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory portlets require HTTP sessions to work, enable a related WebSphere Portal configuration setting so that the web application functions in an anonymous mode.
