Portlet Factory, Version 6.1.2

Invoking the Project Explorer

The Project Explorer is displayed by default. If you close the Project Explorer, you can redisplay it by clicking Window > Show View > Other and then selecting General > Project Explorer. When you open a resource in the Project Explorer, information about that resource appears in an editor in a separate pane. You open a resource by right clicking it and choosing Open from the resulting popup. For example, when you open a model, the Model Editor appears. It contains four tabs:

WebApp Tree

Whose contents can be expanded and selected to show details of the selection. For example, you might expand the Methods item and then select a particular method to display its code.

Model XML

Which displays the XML code that defines the model.

Builder Call Editor

Which, when you have a builder open, displays information about that builder. To open a builder, you first have to display the model's builder calls in the Outline. You display the outline by choosing Window > Show View > Other > General and then selecting Outline. Open the builder by right clicking or double clicking it in the Outline.

WebApp Diagram

Which provides a graphic display.

If you open a profile set, the Profile Editor appears with its own set of tabs and a set of buttons that allow you to add, edit, or delete a profile in the set. To open an individual profile, you have to open the profile set and display its contents in the Outline.

You can rename builder calls in the editor.

Note: It is strongly recommended that you not take advantage of this capability because your changes will not be reconciled throughout the system. To rename a builder call, you should do so from the Outline rather than the editor.
