Uninstall WAS V5.0 Enterprise Enablement

To uninstall WAS V5.0 Enterprise Enablement:

  1. Decide whether to keep extended WAS instances. In some cases, (such as when you are planning to reinstall), you might wish to uninstall while keeping the extended WAS instances you have created. For each instance you do NOT wish to keep, follow the instructions for Removing an extended WAS instance.

  2. End the WAS subsystem by entering the following on an OS/400 command line:

    • WAS Base Edition:

      ENDSBS SBS(QEJBAS5)

    • WAS Network Deployment:

      ENDSBS SBS(QEJBASND5)

  3. Remove WAS V5.0 Enterprise Enablement by entering the following:

    • WAS Base Edition:

      DLTLICPGM LICPGM(5733WS5) OPTION(10)

    • WAS Network Deployment:

      DLTLICPGM LICPGM(5733WS5) OPTION(11)

    When you remove WAS V5.0 Enterprise Enablement, all PTFs that have been loaded and applied are also removed.
