WRKMLBRSCQ (Work with Media Library Resource Queue) Command Description

Purpose

The Work with Media Library Resource Queue (WRKMLBRSCQ) command allows a user to work with the resource allocation requests for the specified media library. More information about using this command is in the Use tape library article in the Information Center.

 

Restrictions

1. The request being changed must use the same user profile as the user issuing the command, or the issuer must have special job control authority (*JOBCTL).
2. Only a user with special job control authority (*JOBCTL) can change the resource allocation priority value.

 

Required Parameters

MLB

Specifies the media library device to work with.

library-device: Specify the name of a tape media library device.

Example for WRKMLBRSCQ

Example 1: Work with media library TAPMLB01

WRKMLBRSCQ MLB(TAPMLB01)

This command displays a list of requests to use a resource in tape media library TAPMLB01.
