UPDSYSINF (Update System Information)
UPDSYSINF Command syntax diagram
Purpose
The Update System Information (UPDSYSINF) command updates the following information on the system that was retrieved through the use of the RTVSYSINF command:
- Edit descriptions
- Network attributes
- Reply list entries
- Service attributes
- Service providers
- System values
Required Parameters
- LIB
- Specifies the library where the system information exists.
library-name: Specify the library name where the system information exists.
Optional Parameters
- TYPE
- Specifies the type of system information being updated on the system.
*ALL: All information is updated.
*EDTD: The edit descriptions that were saved are updated.
*NETA: The network attributes that were saved are updated.
*RPYLE: The reply list entries that were saved are updated.
*SRVA: The service attributes that were saved are updated.
*SRVPVD: The service providers that were saved are updated.
*SYSVAL: The system values that were saved are updated.
Example for UPDSYSINF
UPDSYSINF LIB(TEST) TYPE(*ALL)This command will update all saved system information on the current system from the information in library TEST.
