STRBKUBRM (Start Backup Using BRM)

STRBKUBRM Command syntax diagram
Purpose
The Start Backup using BRM (STRBKUBRM) command selects a control group to back up. You can start the backup immediately or you can schedule it using the system job scheduler. Processing can be batch or interactive.
Note: This command should not be used by control group *EXIT item processing as results will be unpredictable.

Example 1: Backing up a Control Group
STRBKUBRM CTLGRP(BACK01)In this example a backup control group BACK01 will be submitted to batch and processed immediately.
