RMVTCPTBL (Remove TCP/IP Table)
RMVTCPTBL Command syntax diagram
Purpose
The Remove TCP/IP Table (RMVTCPTBL) command is used to remove a previously defined ('activated') set of IP rule tables (some combination of filter rules, NAT rules or IPsec rules). The IP rule tables are removed from all TCP/IP interfaces, regardless of the status (active or inactive) of the interface.
Note: Removal of the filter rule tables will remove from use any currently defined VPN connections. Restriction: You must have *IOSYSCFG special authority to use this command.
Required Parameters
- TBL
- Specifies the rule table that is to be removed from use.
Note: The value specified for this parameter is ignored. The command will always run as if *ALL was specified. *ALL: The IP Filter rule table, the IP Network Address Translation table and the IP Security Tables will be removed from use. All security features will no longer be operative.
