DSPSECA (Display Security Attributes)

DSPSECA Command syntax diagram

 

Purpose

The Display Security Attributes (DSPSECA) command displays the security attributes of the system, such as:

• The user ID number that will be used the next time a user ID number is generated.
• The group ID number that will be used the next time a group ID number is generated.
• The security level or the machine. The pending security level is shown if it is different than the current security level.
• The password level of the machine. The pending password level is shown if it is different than the current password level.

 

Optional Parameters

OUTPUT

Specifies whether the output from the command is displayed at the requesting work station or printed with the job's spooled output.

*: Output requested by an interactive job is shown on the display. Output requested by a batch job is printed with the job's spooled output.

*PRINT: The output is printed with the job's spooled output.

Example for DSPSECA

DSPSECA  OUTPUT(*PRINT)

This command prints the current security attributes.
