Single machine sample topology

In a single machine topology, a single machine hosts all the server components. This topology requires WebSphere Application Server running on a single machine.

Topology configuration

• Single iSeries server machine (Machine A) with these resources:

  • Single HTTP Web server
  • One or more WebSphere Application Server application servers
  • No workload management

• Single client workstation to access the browser-based administrative console.
