Step 2: Install WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries
To install WebSphere Application Server - Express on your iSeries server, complete these steps.
- Install the prerequisite software. For more information, see Prerequisites for installing WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries.
- Determine whether or not WebSphere Application Server - Express is preinstalled on your iSeries server
- Install the correct cumulative PTF package.
- Install the WebSphere Application Server - Express product.
- Install additional PTFs required for WebSphere Application Server- Express.
