Unlock contracts

A Site Administrator, Sales Manager, or Seller can unlock a contract for a user. For example, if a user's system stops while the user is editing the contract, the contract may be locked on the system, and an administrator must unlock it. Also, if one user is editing a contract, this locks the contract and prevents other users from editing it.


  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. Click Sales > Accounts. The Account List page displays, containing business accounts currently defined for the selected store. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.

  3. Select the check box to the left of the account containing the contract to unlock. Click Contracts. The Contracts list displays, containing contracts currently defined for the selected business account.

  4. Select the check box to the left of the contract that to unlock. Click Unlock. The page should now display the updated status of the contract.
