Troubleshoot: Unable to start the WebSphere Commerce service
When using WebSphere Application Server, you are unable to start the WebSphere Commerce service on the Windows machine.
Problem
You are unable to start the WebSphere Commerce service.
Solution
Complete one of the following steps:
- Update the Configuration Manager Service:
- Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Select the IBM WC 7.0 Configuration Manager and change the Log On As option to Local System account.
- Complete the following steps:
- Open a command prompt.
- Navigate to the WC_INSTALL/bin directory.
- Run the following command: config_server.bat
