Package custom database assets
There is no standard packaging format for database assets. If you make database changes and need to move the assets from one system to another during the overall deployment process, use an archiving utility supported by the operating system such as TAR, ZIP or JAR.
The assets required for database changes can include:
- SQL files
- Loader utility XML files
- Access control XML files
- Command scripts
The recommended directory structure to build for this package would be:
Type of file Directory structure Access control policy files WC_INSTALL /xml/policies/xml SQL files WC_INSTALL /sql for SQL files Mass load files WC_INSTALL /xml for massload files
Do not replace any WebSphere Commerce-provided files within these directories.
