Install WebSphere Commerce fix packs silently

You can install your fix pack using a silent method which uses a response file; no graphical interface is required. The silent install method can be used to automate the installation.

Complete this section to silently install the WebSphere Commerce fix pack. If you have already created a WebSphere Commerce or WebSphere Commerce Payments instance, apply the fix pack to the WebSphere Commerce product first. After the fix pack is applied to the product, then apply it to your instances.

• Updating the installation directory silently
  Installing the fix pack, using the silent method, updates the WebSphere Commerce product to that fix pack level.

• Updating the instance silently
  After installing the WebSphere Commerce fix pack, use the silent method to update any existing instances to the same fix pack level.
