Cloud application integration architecture
Integrate cloud applications across hybrid and multicloud environments.Cloud application integration reference architecture
The Cloud application integration reference architecture is illustrated by the example of a major bank. The bank completed a successful digital transformation initiative that used mobile applications and analytics services in the cloud to expand and communicate with new channels. In phase 2 of the transformation, the bank wanted to enable real-time transactions and access to back-end data. It wanted to weave in the digital experience with the established enterprise business processes without compromising control and governance. To that end, the bank adopted an integration platform that has cloud characteristics for scalability, performance, and agility. The platform can accommodate all the necessary integration patterns to be responsive to the native applications' fluctuating requirements.
