Manage profiles on distributed and IBM i operating systems
Create profiles using the Profile Management Tool (pmt.sh) or the manageprofiles.sh command.
The Profile Management Tool is the graphical user interface for the manageprofiles command and is supported only on AIX, Linux, and Windows. On HP-UX, IBM i, and Solaris, use the manageprofiles command instead.
We can create any combination of profiles.
On Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX non-root users can create their own profiles.
We can delete profiles through the manageprofiles command or by other means if necessary. We might delete a profile if the configuration specified in the profile is not what we want.
After creating profile we can start the associate appserver.
