Starting a messaging engine

We start a messaging engine directly using the administrative console or by starting the server that hosts the messaging engine.

1. To start a messaging engine using the administrative consoles.
   Service integration -> Buses bus

2. Display a list of messaging engines:

   • For a list of messaging engines in the bus
     Topology > Messaging engines

   • For a list of messaging engines for a server
     Topology > Bus Members > server

   • For a list of messaging engines for a cluster
     Topology > Bus Members > cluster

3. Select the messaging engine to start.

4. Click Start.
