Operational environment - Application Edition Manager
Application edition manager runs in an Intelligent Management cell.
The SIP protocol is supported in Intelligent Management.
The application edition manager provides support for interruption-free application upgrades only for applications accessed through the ODR by way of the hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) or hypertext transfer protocol running under the secure sockets layer (HTTPS). Service continuity during application upgrade is not assured for inter application access, for example, one Java EE application calling another, unless the inter application access is accomplished by way of HTTP or HTTPS through another ODR layer.
